Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As Operations Specialist and a member of the Business Lending Origination Group (BLOG), you will apply your deep knowledge of RBC commercial credit products, processes, and services, to deliver a high-quality client experience. You will provide expert advice to internal and external business partners on complex and specialized operations, exception processing and critical regulatory requirements due diligence. You will gather vital details from clients and partners to complete complex transactions and offer solutions, while ensuring quality client engagement.

What will you do?

  • Deliver excellent service to clients, focusing on doing what is best for clients and RBC.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in daily activities, understanding the impact of personal actions on achieving a superior client experience.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of diverse RBC products, processes, services and supporting systems/applications to process complex and specialized client transactions or investigations efficiently.
  • Exercise due diligence in following RBC operational risk policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strength in judgment and connect with partners to make informed decisions based on information.
  • Be accountable for quality and accuracy of day-to-day tasks, ensuring a balance between client experience, efficiency, operational risk, and compliance.
  • Use language, behaviors and actions that support a positive and productive work environment.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing ideas and best practices.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Ability to multitask and have strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in Business Operations process, policy, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong and demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to apply analytical thinking.
  • Experience with using Synergy and Odyssey systems.
  • Shift is 9am – 5pm PT, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid work arrangement, in office days required as determined by Business.

Nice-to-have

  • Experienced with using OLBB/CMS, eCourier and CART
