Job Description​

Evaluates patients after injury disease or disability plans designs and implements individualized occupational therapy treatment programs after referral from a physician. Interventions may include therapeutic exercise functional retraining splinting and use of various modalities. The occupational therapist will perform revaluations periodically to determine effectiveness of interventions and contribute to discharge planning. The occupational therapist supervises treatment provided by students and occupational therapist assistants. The occupational therapist recommends patient care interventions to other members of the health care team to contribute to the rehabilitation process. The occupational therapist delegates and instructs supportive personnel in services to be provided. Patient care may be provided in home health outpatient inpatient nursing home or school setting. The occupational therapist may perform other duties as requested by manager.

Automobile Proof of Insurance - Various, Driver's License - Various, Occupational Therapist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
