Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. You will analyze security events, investigate incidents, and implement measures to prevent and mitigate cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. - Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and root cause analysis. - Implement and maintain security controls and measures to protect systems and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. - Assist in the development and execution of security awareness and training programs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Chronicle SIEM, Google Chronicle SOAR. - Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and best practices. - Experience with security incident response and management. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
