Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in endpoint extended detection and response to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. - Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or unauthorized access. - Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents. - Install, configure, and upgrade security software and hardware. - Create and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incidents. - Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training programs. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities. - Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies. - Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. - Respond to and resolve security incidents in a timely manner. - Assist in the development and maintenance of incident response plans. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Endpoint Extended Detection and Response. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with network security technologies. - Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and industry standards. - Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. - Experience with security assessment tools and techniques. - Familiarity with security incident response processes. - Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and events. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Endpoint Extended Detection and Response. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
