Job Summary
Responsible for providing technical support in areas such as desktop, help desk and IT project support along with network troubleshooting/support. Assists with providing technical training and guidance to Technicians if needed. Works in a structured environment and follows established policies and procedures. Has developed specialized knowledge/skills in own area. Completes work assignments independently or with minimal supervision/guidance. Projects require problem resolution using standard policies and procedures. Has developed specialized knowledge/skills in own area. May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Interacts with cross-organizational entities to escalate trouble tickets and restore service as quickly as possible.
Assist with Basic End User Support.
Responds to trouble calls/alerts/emails in a timely and professional manner.
Follow system security procedures and guidelines; establish user accounts and access rights. Must be able to work any shift during normal operating hours, 24 hours 7 days per week. Weekend and other coverage as required.
Develops and improves documentation to enhance and support problem analysis and resolution.
Performs trend analysis of systems to ensure optimal performance.
Consults with end users in addressing problems and assists in formulating solutions. Maintains exceptional level of communication with end users.
Provides recommendations regarding hardware, software, processes, et cetera, in order to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Assists in training of basic systems for new and current users when necessary.
Implements and maintains IT standards.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
