Role Title

Associate Engineer

Role Description

The Associate Engineer will work as part of a diverse team to deliver client centered solutions. They will collaborate will cross-functional groups and contribute to the overall platform development. As a team member and as an individual you will take ownership and accountability for all aspects related to the platform, quality, stability, maintenance, all driven in support of our clients.  The technology or service solutions that the Engineer is involved with will be innovative, efficient, scalable, fully performing and should comply with all standards and best practices in support of business and Client outcomes and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Good knowledge of software engineering principles and theory, we work as an Agile team.  We like technologists, so a keen interest in all thing’s technology is good.  We are always challenging each other to improve, and we love questions from colleagues and no question is a bad one J

  • A willingness to take initiative, this role has lots of scope for the right candidate to take on responsibly.

  • We like thinkers, problem solvers, after all what we do is put solutions in place for our clients that allows them to live better lives. We also need to communicate these solutions to our team members so having solid skills to do this is a must.

  • Analyzing defects to determine root cause, identify patterns and improve the process.

  • Initiate and support process improvements to help improve the quality and value of the Company’s processes and deliverables.

  • Attending Agile ceremonies and assisting with story refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and team demos.

  • Additional skills to give you an edge: JIRA, Qtest any automation tooling
