Key missions of the position:
The incumbent would be the IR Lead is responsible for managing all aspects of IR of Transit India. The incumbent will have the responsibility of ensuring IR functional delivery and excellence in Employee Engagement/Advocacy, Employee Relations, ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Works closely with unions and employee representatives to create and deliver people practices that develop and maintain positive working relationships between an organization and its people
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Manage employee relations, including addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees, management, and labour unions
Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or violations of company policies
Provides counsel to workers regarding company and Governmental policies, regulations, and procedures.
Facilitating negotiations between management and labour unions
Providing advice and support to management on industrial relations issues
Lead the contract management.
Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards

Candidate Profile
Education/Training : Masters Degree in Human Resources , Diploma in Labour Law & Industrial Relations
Professional Experience
15 years of experience in the IR function
Should have led Long Term Wage Settlement process (18(1) & 12 (3) in the past
Knowledge of all statutory & compliance regulations related to factory
Strong stakeholder orientation and ability to work in a globally matrixed organization.
Excellent interpersonal consulting and leadership skills
Ability to collaborate/consult make decisions
Highly motivated self-starter with strong result orientation and ability to drive and manage change.
Ability to quickly build rapport and credible relationships across all levels of the organization.
Strong employee advocacy and ability to build comfort and approachability
