As the Associate Manager of the Material Data Management (MDM) team, you will lead a team serving as the SAP Power Users in the Master Data Governance (MDG) application with new product development, mergers and acquisitions, product engineering, and other commercial functions while managing and executing processes to support the commercialization of Stryker products. You will lead a team of technical resources who manage processes that maintain master data integrity for the Medical Division while prioritizing investment in team development through best practice sharing, lessons learned, and training.
***This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work in office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. ***

What you will do
- Set goals, manage performance, and support the growth and development of all team members, and aid in defining roles and responsibilities that align with the needs of the business and key stakeholders,
- Establish and drive relationships across 3 sites supporting the Acute Care, Emergency Care, and Sage businesses to establish standard processes for material creation and maintenance activities.
- Drive excellence and continuous improvement in quality of data through cleansing and construction activities while ensuring data integrity.
- Develop and influence data standards, data quality management, KPI’s and metrics related to the creation and maintenance of master data throughout the Stryker ecosystem.
- Manage relationships with data steward resources within other teams to ensure clear understanding of organizational requirements that are managed in coordination with MDM.
- Identify and drive opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality.
- Develops an understanding of processes and operational procedures within the commercial business to assist in decision making.
- Develop and maintain relationships at both the org level MDG as well as live sites MDM teams by serving as the point of contact and decision maker on behalf of the Medical business. Expected activities include participation in governance meetings, data summits, and sharing lessons learned to improve data management processes as well as collaborate on system enhancements and reported incidents.
- Ensure the team is collaborating with live sites and participating in regression testing in preparation for future releases.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree required in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study.
- MBA and/or MS preferred.
- 6+ years of professional working experience required.
- 2+ years of leading and developing technical teams required.
- Experience managing data with SAP MDM(Master Data Management) and/or MDG(Master Data Governance) Required.
- Prior experience on providing strategic approach on key projects and initiatives required.
- Experience on stakeholder management and ability to influence on key initiatives required.
- Previous Coaching and mentorship of team members experience required.
