OVERVIEW:

The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for exporting data from loss prevention systems, preparing understandable and actionable reports, and delivering to key stakeholders on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly cadence. Other responsibilities include keeping excel worksheets up-to-date with new data, handling and converting video data, keeping track of loss prevention finance data including intrusion alarm permits and fines, and updating the loss prevention SharePoint communication center. Other tasks may include providing risk exposure analysis and recommending improvements in processes and procedures.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor, export and prepare reports on regular cadence

  • Run Ad Hoc (custom reporting) quickly as needed to identify or further define a various theft patterns

  • Prepare detailed/statistical reports on internal and external activities, audit, etc. with findings as necessary

  • Analyze and monitor trends and determine action items

  • Maintain loss prevention data in various formats including internal systems, Saas applications and excel worksheets

Administrative

  • Support intrusion alarm permits and fines process

  • Manage travel, expense, and capital reporting

  • Maintain Loss Prevention SharePoint pages

  • Export and convert video data in usable formats

  • Prepare store specific data and communicate to store and district leadership to increase awareness and improvement

  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Criminal Justice
  • 1-3 years' experience in Loss Prevention or Analytics
  • Exception Based Reporting
  • Refund Management Platforms
  • Point of Sale
  • Video Management Systems
  • Case Management Systems
  • Store-Level Loss Prevention Experience
  • Ability to work independently- self motivated
  • Solid Conflict management skills
