Clinical Systems Analyst I

This position will be dedicated to managing our automated dispensing cabinets and inventory management software/hardware.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Participate in the implementation of clinical information systems.
Develop and test the functionality of applications.
Assist with training programs related to automated systems.
Interact with end users to define problems.
Coordinate and conduct education and end user training programs to ensure systems are utilized as designed.
Assist with end user documentation development or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.
Provide implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle with direction from the Lead Analyst.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
One year of applicable hospital or major medical center experience or one year of recent experience supporting a major clinical information system.
A high school diploma/GED, one year of relevant experience and an additional four years of healthcare IT experience can substitute the education and experience requirements.
An associate’s degree, one year of relevant experience and an additional two years of healthcare experience can substitute the education and experience requirements.
Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field, such as nursing, pharmacy assisting, medical assisting, medical assisting, medical technology or EMT.
Technical certification may be required.
Required within six months of hire: ITIL Foundations certification.
Familiarity with the processes and procedures related to healthcare regulatory agencies.
In-depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
