As we scale our footprint, we are seeking a Business Development Representative for our Mid-Market sales team.  As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a pivotal role in driving outbound lead generation efforts and supporting our Sales Executives. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and ensuring our sales team can continue expanding our partnerships in the mid-market.

 

Your Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Executive to identify and qualify prospective clients through outbound lead generation efforts through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, and social media), making 75-100 outbound calls daily, scheduling calls  and nurturing leads. 
  • Focuses on lead generation through outbound prospecting, making 75-100 calls daily, scheduling demos, and nurturing leads. 
  • Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and potential partners.
  • Work with the Sales Executive to set appointments and schedule meetings with qualified leads.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with lead information, sales activities, and follow-up actions.
  • Proactively engage with potential clients to identify their needs and position Home Solutions as the best solution for their business.
  • Assist in crafting and delivering presentations, pitches, and proposals as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to client and foster long-term relationships.

 

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role; experience in home services is a plus.
  • Proven experience with outbound lead generation, cold calling, and prospecting techniques.
  • Strong research and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and build rapport with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a hunger for success.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or similar platforms is preferred.
