About the Role

We are looking for a solution driven candidate who would describe themselves as being analytical, collaborative and highly organized. The Sales Planning team is comfortable working in a deadline driven environment and being communicative about their deliverables. The most successful individuals understand how to prioritize their workload and can be agile and adapt quickly if an urgent matter arises. The team is focused on pricing integrity, media plan strategy and campaign delivery, but also on continued upskilling and leadership training and opportunities. By joining our global Sales Planning organization you will be a part of a diverse team where you will continue to learn, be challenged and work across the best-in-class advertising campaigns.

You Will:

  • Work with the advertising sales team on client briefs/RFPs by providing proposal ideas and inventory solutions that best meet client expectations and proposal objectives while maintaining pricing integrity and package strategy
  • Build a solid understanding of Dow Jones digital product offerings and operational capabilities
  • Work with your manager and other sector support teams to utilize historical data and market research/demand to pitch solution-driven ideas and strategic media distribution
  • Produce and reserve digital campaigns in order management systems leveraging yield tools required (does not include creation of client presentations)
  • Collaborate with both sales and operations teams to launch campaigns in a timely manner and work on campaign optimizations to reach or exceed client goals and maintain revenue

You Have:

  • 1-2 years working with an online advertising operations or planning team
  • Proven experience working with a digital planning or advertising operations team
  • Experience using one or more digital ad serving and/or order management system (i.e. GAM, Operative.One, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated
  • Strong computer applications skills (Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Preferred BA/BS College degree or equivalent

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000
