As an IT Principal Architect, ServiceMax you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the design, configuration, build, test, and deployment of Stryker's ServiceMax product solutions. In this role, you will work closely with both IT and business stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and optimization of the ServiceMax application.  You will also play a crucial role in translating business needs into innovative technical solutions and fostering communication across various business groups, IT teams, and vendors.

*This position is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at our local Stryker offices*

What you will do:

  • Leadership and Coordination
    • Lead the design and deployment of ServiceMax solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and architectural standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, enabling strategic and effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Facilitate clear communication between business stakeholders and IT technical teams, building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Technical Design and Implementation
    • Participate in technical design, prototypes, QA/testing, and delivery of solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and technical efficiencies.
  • Documentation and Support
    • Define and document interfaces between components and solutions. Author system and technical documentation.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship
    • Lead and mentor Solution Analysts, providing oversight and guidance.
  • Solution Life Cycle Management
    • Support and participate in the planning and implementation of the ServiceMax application.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required.
  • 8+ years’ experience in an IT Architecture related role required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in deploying ServiceMax solutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of and ability to drive IT methodologies such Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies required.
  • Knowledge of service processes or experience in implementing service projects or processes required.
  • Knowledge of Lean, ITIL, PPM, PMO standards and processes preferred.
  • Experience with global system rollouts and enterprise solution methodologies preferred.
  • Salesforce/ServiceMax certification preferred.

Travel Percentage: 30%
