Neuromodulation:

Our Neuromodulation business is a market leader in leveraging mobile, minimally-invasive implantable technologies to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. Our chronic pain solutions include the Eterna™ System, Proclaim™ XR SCS System, Proclaim™ DRG Neurostimulator, the only FDA approved DRG therapy, and the IonicRF™ Generator for Radiofrequency Ablation. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum. Our deep brain stimulation technology for progressive diseases help people manage their Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor symptoms, steering away from side effects.

Abbott Neuromodulation develops advanced medical implants and accessories for the stimulus of the nervous system to help patients suffering from chronic pain and motion disorders.  We are on the forefront of implantable device miniaturization and data science for improved patient outcomes.  Through advanced embedded systems and external mobile device apps, we create an ecosystem for developing rapid advancements in the field of neuromodulation through modern data science and analysis

The Opportunity:

The Program Manager for clinical training is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of all clinical training programs. The role ensures that all new hires or current employees receive comprehensive training that aligns with organizational objectives and standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop training curricula
  • Content Creation: Create educational materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, onboarding plans, SOPs, and other resources to support training initiatives
  • Evaluation: Develop and utilize assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and learners’ comprehension
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between direct team, downstream marketing, commercial org, and all business partners that interact with commercial org
  • Program Coordination: Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other educational activities
  • Compliance and Standards Ensure that all training materials, presentations, and educational content are prepared in compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory standards
  • Resource Management: Manage training resources, including materials, product, and budgets
  • Support: Provide training support and guidance to team during clinical training
  • Training Delivery: Present training material for new hire onboarding, advanced training, sales meetings, and other relevant events
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Provide ongoing coaching and support for sales team to help improve performance and readiness for field activities and clinical settings
  • Improvement: Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement. Collect and incorporate feedback from trainees and sales leadership to continually improve training programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree and minimum 4 years in healthcare field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; a master’s degree in education is preferred
  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or other related roles
  • Knowledge of medical devices and healthcare industry standards
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging training materials
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Knowledge of the MLR review process

The base pay for this position is

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
