Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose
The District Service Director will own a local area team to deliver service excellence. The District Service Director will have district P&L ownership to drive the portfolio and lead a local area team of field service professionals servicing our fleet in the US. In this role, you will demonstrate accountability for customer, functional, business, and company objectives.
Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will lead the local area team to meet business and customer needs across the organization, manage complex issues, be involved in short and long-term planning and execution, and contribute to the overall business strategy and financial results.
As the District Service Director, you will:
- Be the single operational point of contact for the local area team and be responsible for the district growth and RTS management.
- Manage customer relationships at multiple levels of their organization, providing regional leadership presence
- Be responsible for providing oversight for all customer experience, including issue management and timely resolution.
- Own profit and loss responsibility (orders, sales, margin, cash) for the District including parts, repairs, field services and projects for the customers in your portfolio
- Be accountable for the Local Area Team administration and have process adherence ownership
- Be responsible for all contractual and transactional service management for the portfolio customer
- Be accountable for outage management alignment and outage cost strategy. Lead the Pre-Post outage reviews for the district
- Ensure District team development and talent pipeline
- Drive operational excellence and rigor on Fulfillment 5 metrics – EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) / Quality / Cycle / Cost / Productivity and leverage key productivity tools in lean and quality to deliver process excellence
- Track performance in key areas such as EHS, customer satisfaction, productivity, outage planning, FE (Field Engineering) training and talent development
- Drive improvement through identification and implementation of corrective and preventative actions
- Set the tone for EHS – SAFETY first (Always)
- Establish and drive effective targets for Injury & Illness (I&I), near misses, observations, etc.
- Team with Sales to develop the long-term growth strategy for your customers, and drive Inquiry to Order (ITO) deal development, long term strategic partnerships, and deal closure
- Assist with short and long-term business planning
- Be responsible for hiring, training and development, mentoring, salary planning, performance and career development, and disciplinary actions as required, of assigned direct reports
- Work with Gas Power and Fulfillment teams to understand both short- and long-term outage forecast, resource needs, and assist with plan for adequate resourcing

- Own Customer Playbooks and work with the local area sales team to develop retention, growth, risk, and fulfillment strategies
- Be responsible for backlog, forecasting, pipeline and weekly financial tracker updates for the portfolio financials.
- Understand trends & drivers, and effectively communicate risks, opportunities, changes, and key gap closure activities
- Own and drive a cash target and resolve key past due or collection issues
Qualifications/Requirements
- ·Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering or business experience with technical knowledge of power plant equipment - gas turbine, steam turbine, or generator, including a minimum of 2 years of experience leading direct and/or indirect teams.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $140,300.00 and $233,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
