Guidepoint Insights is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Research Product & Operations. This role is pivotal in shaping and scaling our market solutions for investment professionals across equity, credit, private equity, venture capital, consulting, corporate strategy, business development, and competitive intelligence teams. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Research Product Management: Lead the scaling of research products tailored for investment and consulting professionals, ensuring alignment with market needs and client expectations. 
  • Research Automation: Oversee the implementation of automation tools and processes to enhance research efficiency, data accuracy, and scalability.
  • Business Intelligence: Develop and implement business intelligence strategies that inform product development and improve operational efficiencies..
  • Content Editing: Ensure high-quality content creation and editing across all research outputs, maintaining consistency and adherence to brand standards.
  • Operations Oversight: Direct operational processes to optimize workflow, resource allocation, and overall productivity within the research team.
  • Client Innovation: Work closely with product and technology teams to develop innovative solutions for delivering and displaying research content, ensuring seamless integration with evolving client needs and enhancing user experience.
  • AI Team Liaison: Collaborate with AI vendors specializing in natural language processing (NLP), data analytics, and automation tools to integrate advanced technologies and solutions that enhance research capabilities and operational effectiveness.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to measure operational performance, drive decision-making, and continuously optimize both human and AI research processes.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a diverse team of researchers, analysts, and operational staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align research initiatives with company objectives and market demands.

WHAT YOU HAVE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in research product development and operations, with 15+ years preferred, specifically supporting investment professionals and consulting teams.
  • Proven track record of creating and scaling content solutions in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and strategic vision. 
  • Strong understanding of equity, credit, private equity, venture capital, and competitive intelligence sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on driving results and fostering collaboration.
  • Experience with research automation and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.

What We Offer: 
The annual base salary range for this position is $220,000 to $240,000. Base salary may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
