Accountable for :

Complying with Optical Métiers processes and Design Rules: 

  • Plan, monitor and control activities according to Optical product design process of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management) & R&D PDP

  • In charge of the optic feasibility for robust design / validation in line with the economic targets

  • Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications. In case of feasibility issue, identify and manage the risk with the Product Architect to find the solution

  • Perform or support design & associated simulations / associated acceptance tests, prototype realisation and corrective action if needed

  • Coordination all necessary engineer to ensure Optical design robustness 

  • Applies Standardisation rules, exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications

  • Responsible for Optical Metier design reviews preparation  and in charge of problem solving of his metier on the defined project

  • Interface with the customer for Optical content

  • Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Engineer and his Hierarchical

  • As member of optic network,  

  • Tech watch analysis Optic correspondent on the subjects concerned by his domain of expertise (product, patent)

  •  VLSI trainer

  •  Participate in meetings of creativity by offering innovative solutions that can lead to patents

  •  Makes suggestions to set up within the Laboratory,  (material or methodological developments) aimed at improving the efficiency of the service.

Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting

  • Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments align with the budget of the project

  • Establish detailed breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones

  • Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing
