Job Summary

Conagra Brands - Russellville is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. You will work onsite at the Russellville, AR manufacturing plant on 1st shift. Reporting to the Sr. Reliability Specialist, you will oversee the maintenance department, production lines and affiliated equipment. You will maintain the preventative maintenance system and work toward exceeding the plants safety and uptime goals while controlling our maintenance expenses. Other primary responsibilities include leadership of equipment performance tracking and repair/improvement prioritization; technical coaching of mechanical craftsmen; and engineering support of maintenance and capital projects.

Position Responsibilities

  • You will lead workers engaged in maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
  • You will help us monitor downtime and efficiencies of the production lines, paying special attention for maintenance and mechanical trends - aiming for continuous improvement.
  • Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life with daily maintenance completed by operating personnel.
  • Train, motivate, evaluate, and direct employees to follow safe, quality work methods and standards.
  • Enforce the plant's safety program and maintain compliance to all OSHA safety regulations and standards.
  • Assume full ownership of predictive and preventive maintenance activities including oil analysis, vibration analysis, engine-compressor analysis, and infrared thermography.
  • Help us evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to ensure optimum use of workforce and resources in maximizing equipment reliability.
  • You will ensure your team supports maintaining equipment for efficient operation within maintenance budget; within the constraint of the union contract and USDA regulations.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required, bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other technical degree program is preferred
  • At least 3 years of previous maintenance experience
  • At least one year of experience supervising Maintenance Teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance programs and knowledge of Electronic and Electrical principals.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
