The HR Assistant will work closely with the Union Management and HR Teams to aid in recruiting, safety, health and wellness, training, and associate engagement activities. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR function as necessary to include associate records maintenance and Workday (HRIS) entry.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide first-level assistance to internal customers seeking help or information.

  • Maintain associate attendance records.

  • Assist with data changes in Workday (HRIS) System.

  • Coordinate associate events such as appreciation events or annual wellness events.

  • Lead candidate sourcing efforts for Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence.

  • Communicate and coordinate interviews with candidates.

  • Coordinate plant visits and customer tours, ensuring a fantastic experience

  • Assist HR Team by scheduling interviews and meetings as needed.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned. 

Qualifications Include:

  • 1-3 years of Human Resource Experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Provide Outstanding Customer Service to internal and external customers.

  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

  • Practice and maintain a safe working environment.
