Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition - Air Traffic Services (ATS) Recruitment, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will provide recruitment support for the Air Traffic Services Recruitment and Selection function. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 year’s experience in Recruitment or relevant experience, be able to build effective and meaningful relationships with the management team and have a passion for providing exceptional support and consultative services on recruitment activities.

In this role you will:

  • Responsible for all activities related to Air Traffic Services Recruitment.
  • Coordination of testing, assessment and interviews for candidates as it pertains to Air Traffic Services recruitment.
  • Assist in supporting the creation of assessments.
  • Prepare candidate communication and offer letters.
  • Provide management counsel and advice in screening and selecting appropriate candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and provide advice and guidance to managers on best practices within the recruitment function.
  • Provide a positive experience to all internal and external candidates by building strong relationships throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in career fairs to screen potential external applicants and ensure effective representation of NAV CANADA’s employer brand and NAV CANADA as a preferred employer.
  • Conduct telephone and/or in-person screening interviews.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from university or college diploma in a related field.
  • HR designation considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience, including the following:
    • Experience acting as an end-to-end Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Advisor in a corporate and/or agency environments.
    • Volume recruitment for skilled professionals experience is an asset.
  • Change management and project management experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of current effective recruitment and assessment techniques.
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion theories and best practices.
  • Knowledge of online recruitment platforms.
  • Knowledge of Workday processes and functionality is an asset.
