Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Manager GSA is to develop and implement business plans and tactics focusing on new product launches for Switzerland and Austria, using a thorough understanding of local market needs and product launch experiences. The Marketing Manager contributes to the achievements of the business goals.
The role reports into the Head of Marketing GSA (Germany, Switzerland and Austria)
Responsibilities
Key Decision Rights
- Drive end to end integrated marketing strategy for the launch of a new product within GSA (Switzerland), business models and effective multichannel Marketing campaigns to both customer acquisition and retention by focusing on Switzerland and Austria.
- Works independently on Marketing projects and in cross-departmental teams, including Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Medical, Legal/Compliance. This includes product strategy, channel and customer propositions to both consumer and health care professionals, messaging, with an understanding of key metrics plus ability to design compelling marketing plans and programs to drive awareness and uptake.
- Building on market insights and prior experience identifies innovation opportunities, creates new Marketing tactics to deliver product launches and growth in assigned geographies.
- Identifies medical education and clinical evidence opportunities for the brand and drives cross-functional cooperation with Medical Affairs to deploy programs.
- Identifies opportunities to increase market access potential and works cross-functionally with Market Access to support realization.
- Drives implementation of commercialization activities along the funnel
- Managing engagement with marketing agencies and accountable for deliverables enabling overall country program execution
- Accountable for both DTC and HCP Marketing materials to be customized to the countries’ needs; accountable for lifecycle management, including MLR.
- Accountable for /Drives projects with the regional sales teams and stakeholders from the international team to optimize the customer journey
- Owns alliances and Marketing initiatives amongst industry partners
- Drives social media activities, digital marketing and programs for influencers and brand ambassadors

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree, e.g. in marketing, economics, communication or related fields
- Demonstrated relevant professional experience in Marketing, including driving and
implementing product launches
- Knowledge of the insulin pump/diabetes market and key market players in the region's markets to identify market opportunities
- Experience in the medical technology, pharmaceutical, OTC or consumer goods sectors
- Familiar with the MS Office package
- Good knowledge of English
- Confident in German (written and spoken)
- Deep insights to the diabetes market, pump market insights is a plus
Additional Information
- The position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our Munich office.
- Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business need.
