The Shuttle Supervisor works under the supervision and direction of the Account Manager to support the client’s transportation program. The Shuttle Supervisor provides coordination and administration of Towne Park’s fleet maintenance program.

Job Details

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The hourly base pay for this position is $24.60 per hour.

SUMMARY

The Shuttle Supervisor works under the supervision and direction of the Account Manager to support the client’s transportation program.  The Shuttle Supervisor provides coordination and administration of Towne Park’s fleet maintenance program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the fleet of vehicles to include fueling, cleaning, keeping current maintenance cycles and rotation of fleet vehicles
  • Assures driving teams stays on current route schedule, including arriving and departure times
  • Supervisors driving team to include on the route visits, driver evaluations, idle time monitoring, speed and safety checks and Safe 360 policies.
  • Guides and assists any and all driver training including new hires and on-going training for current drivers
  • Maintain and track vehicle registrations and insurance paperwork
  • Maintains positive partnership with the client including daily operation communications and sharing any driver feedback or passenger behavior
  • Keeps inventory of all supplies needed for shuttle operations and places orders as needed

  • Maintains a clean, neat work environment
  • Completes all tasks in a timely manner
  • Cooperates with Account Manager and coworkers to ensure that services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the client
  • Treats clients and associates with courtesy, respect, and dignity

Safety and Risk Management

  • Understands and follows safety and security procedures
  • Reports all accidents and incidents to the appropriate client and / or Towne Park contact
  • Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner
  • Reports all potential high-risk areas and safety concerns to the appropriate client and / or Towne Park contact
  • Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage and submits to the client for consideration

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude in ability to utilize MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to effectively plan, set priorities, and manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organization
  • Well-rounded knowledge of technology for various fleet management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance
  • Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings with a demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
  • Ability to effectively present information to client and other relevant stakeholders
  • Familiar with methods and techniques of dispatching and overseeing a large fleet of vehicles
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Intermediate to advanced level of performance in development of reports.
  • Exposure to a decentralized fleet operation.
  • Experience with communication devices, computers and supporting word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications need to validate safe fleet operations
  • Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement and Medical Card.
