HPs HorizonPulse Returnship Program supports experienced professionals who have taken a career break of 2 years or more and are ready to re-enter the workforce.​ Our 16-week Returnship program offers participants professional work experience and customized programming, where they will gain valuable skills, knowledge, and support through mentorship, training, and networking opportunities, ultimately empowering them to seamlessly transition back into the workforce to achieve their career goals. At the conclusion of the program, you will have the opportunity to be considered for full-time employment, based on your performance and HP's business needs.

The program runs: 16 September 2024-16 January 2025

The Personal Systems Strategic Alliances organization is seeking a Business Planner to join our dynamic and collaborative team. Reporting directly into the WW Strategic Alliance Leader (Google), this role will work side by side with the leadership team, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness, strategic alignment, and integration of activities with all organization functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support an effective teamwork environment through facilitation of staff meetings, collaboration, and alignment

  • Drive strategic initiatives that require cross-organizational support, external partners, high priority, etc., tracking progress, signaling performance gaps, and defining mitigation plans

  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization on their inputs and materials needed for all executive forums and meetings.

  • Drive communication  to the organization – focused on driving awareness, engagement, and training

  • Partner closely with stakeholders  to build organizational culture and employee engagement

Experience and skills needed:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent

  • 8 years of relevant experience, including experience in strategy, operations, finance, and business planning

  • Proven track-record of project/program leadership including leading cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills, and group facilitation with ability to communicate complex or abstract ideas clearly and succinctly.

  • Strong analytical thinking, analysis, problem-solving skills, process orientation, and business acumen skills.

  • Ability to pull together external, and internal Executive level presentations.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and quality of deliverables; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities (both long and short term) simultaneously
