TCP is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join the People Operations team. This role will report to the Manager of Employee Engagement and Communications. As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of internal communication strategies and initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring clear, effective, and consistent communication within the organization to engage employees, foster a positive work environment, and align with the company’s strategic goals.

As an Internal Communications Specialist you will:

  • Develop and execute internal communication plans that support the company’s objectives and brand.
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including newsletters, company announcements, intranet updates, and other internal communications.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that internal communications messages are consistent with external communication messages.
  • Manage the internal communications calendar and ensure timely execution of the strategy.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and expand the company Employee SharePoint; assist in expansion of the SharePoint for each department.
  • Assist in the organization of company-wide and departmental events and meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between the People Operations team and other departments to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Support the recruiting function with clear internal job postings and messaging.
  • Enable recruiting by crafting and maintaining our image as an employer of excellence.
  • Support L&D function with relevant creation of programming.
  • Facilitate relevant trainings company-wide.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in internal communications or a related role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and with all levels of management.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messaging.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
