About the role

We want to hear from you today if you can:

·       Supports and oversees all the engineering activities to include change management, platform performance and stability, and data collection and retention for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), unstructured data security, eDiscovery and Internal Investigations.

·       Leads the DLP program including process, tooling, event tracking, remediation and escalations.

·       Leads the Unstructured Data Security program including overseeing data discovery, classification, identification of issues (e.g., missing data owners, open access), and driving remediation of identified issues.

·       Supports Legal for eDiscovery requests, and supports the Security Operations Center and Employee Relations for internal investigations and forensic requests.

·       Develop and maintain daily / weekly / monthly metrics as required. Coordinate and assist in developing dashboards, correlations, key performance indicator and standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility.

·       Assess current policies and standards related to the areas of responsibility and identify opportunities for improvement.

·       Supports the engineering team to help address the day-to-day activities and provides leadership for the team to become more efficient.

What we are looking for

  • 6+ years technical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, ideally in individual contributor and leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery and cyber forensic tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of tools and methods to manage and protect unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and processes, including regex policies, exact data match configurations, false positive reduction, and assessing company needs to develop custom policies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to include the ability to influence decisions with business units and technical leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while being flexible and able to handle rapidly changing scenarios and are someone who sees 'ambiguity' as an opportunity rather than a hurdle.
  • True change agent – not intimidated by challenge of unknown and willing to challenge status quo.
  • Proven extensive technical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, in both individual contributor and leadership roles.
  • Experience with aspects of AWS cloud architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach direct reports and effectively manage talent and performance.
  • Strong ability to communicate via written and verbal communication in both formal and casual situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with calm effectiveness.
