Job Description:

Responsibilities

Are you interested in problem-solving and working with a positive team-oriented group of individuals? Then this position may be for you! Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Auditor II.

The Senior Auditor II will be primarily responsible for subrecipient monitoring, independent audit tasks, and junior staff development.  The Senior Auditor II will conduct external audits of subrecipients while also taking initiative to manage and execute higher-level tasks assigned by management, requiring independent problem-solving and decision-making skills.  The incumbent will also serve as a resource in the development of junior staff as well as other appropriate related duties as assigned 

 

This position supports both the Albany and HRI Roswell Park Divisions. 

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of audit experience: OR an Associate’s degree a related field and four years of audit experience; OR six years of audit experience.  A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of audit experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experiences with: 

  • Microsoft Office Word & Excel, 

  • Audit report writing,  

  • 2 CFR §200 (Uniform Guidance) audits,  

  • Subrecipient monitoring, or 

  • Internal audit. 

Conditions of Employment

Management/Confidential position.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel, up to 10% of the time, will be required.

The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. Telecommuting will be available.
