Context of the role 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic and multicultural team. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure, including on-premise, Azure, and AWS environments. You will work as part of a team in an operational production environment in the world of payment, subject to strict security and availability constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize on-premise, Azure, and AWS environments to ensure maximum availability, security and performance.
  • Administration: Manage AWS EKS, Microsoft OS, IIS, Active Directory (AD), and MS SQL Server.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide Tier 1/2/3 support for incidents and issues related to IT infrastructure.
  • Automation: Develop scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and security teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance existing systems.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in managing / migration Azure and AWS environments.
  • Strong system administration skills, particularly with Kubernetes, Microsoft OS, IIS, Active Directory, and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with cloud services and hybrid solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices, especially in payment environments (PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
  • Proficiency with automation, configuration management tools (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) and version control systems.
  • Understanding of networking and communication protocols such as: IP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, DNS, TLS, HTTP, SMTP, SSH
  • Team Spirit: Ability to work effectively within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Responsibility: Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and changes in the operational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of [5 or 10] years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant certifications (Azure, AWS, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
