NVIDIA Ethernet Networking is looking for a Solutions Architect! As part of the NVIDIA Data Center Solutions Architecture team, you will be responsible for driving our end-to-end technology solutions with our most strategic web2.0, cloud , HPC AI and enterprise datacenter customers, as well as for identifying gaps in business technology and offering recommendations to marketing and engineering teams on our product strategy. NVIDIA Ethernet networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for accelerated computing. We offer best-in-class solutions that include adapter cards, switches, cables and software to support Ethernet networking technologies. What you'll be doing:

  • Providing Ethernet expertise to customers during the sales cycle to design, architect and test Ethernet networking solutions

  • Work on multi-functional teams to provide Ethernet network expertise to server infrastructure builds, accelerated computing workloads and GPU enabled AI applications

  • Collaborating with product management and product marketing to provide field facing feedback to influence the direction of product roadmap

  • Assisting in responding to RFP/RFI proposals by providing Ethernet switching expertise

  • Building and delivering custom-tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts for solutions that address critical business needs for our customers

  • Working with our product and OEM teams to assist with Ethernet networking design-in for larger consolidated solutions

What we need to see:

This role is for self-motivated individual who works well with minimal direction. Candidates should have a customer-first perspective and be empowered to identify the work that best benefits the technology and customer experience:

  • BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of network/system/server engineering/administration.

  • A background in the following technologies is advantageous: Datacenter engineering, networking architecture, or cloud application experience

  • Understanding of system level issues, focusing on Linux operating system, kernel drivers, PCIe devices, and computer hardware architecture

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals including the TCP/IP stack, networking protocols, data center architecture

  • Familiarity with NetDevOps workflows including automation, infrastructure-as-code, digital simulation, continuous integration/continuous deployment, automated validation.

  • Familiarity with Open Network Operating System like : Cumulus Linux and/or SONiC.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to deliver technical presentations, architectural design, and to act as a trusted advisor to customers.

  • Confidence in developing and delivering proofs-of-concepts.

  • Effective in time management and capable of prioritizing multiple demands and deadlines.

The base salary range is 120,000 USD - 230,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
