What you will do:

  • Supports development and maintenance of company's consolidated budget/forecast as well as corporate strategy.
  • Collects, analyzes, and monitors key financial and performance data related to operations, capital projects, and assigned business areas.
  • Supports budget variance analysis including report development and interpretation of results to management.
  • Supports financial and key performance indicator analysis reports and data visualization for Business Managers and Senior Management.
  • Drive process improvements in routine tasks for efficiency.
  • Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Supports annual budgeting process for assigned operational areas including capital projects.

Who you are:

You have:

  • 0-2 years of experience within financial management and analysis, utility or relevant industry knowledge within accounting standards and practices in addition to a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance
  • An interest in continuous learning and improvement along with a conceptual understanding of data migration among various platforms (spreadsheets, planning software and ERP systems)

You can:

  • Prioritize and deliver in a deadline oriented environment
  • Show basic skills in project analysis and financial planning and analysis

You are:

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with excellent people skills including the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI or Tableau is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in typical office environment 95% of the time with 5% travel to other sites

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
