Banner Health is currently seeking an IT Technician II responsible for providing at-the-elbow support in the Greely, Colorado area. As an ideal candidate, you would have past IT desktop support experience, be a self-starter, a team player, and eager to learn and perform.
In this position, as an IT Technician II you will assist with technical support to desktop computers/laptops, applications, and related technology. This includes performing equipment installation/upgrades, troubleshooting and problem resolution, and preventative maintenance in accordance with standard guidelines and procedures. In this position you will interface with other information technology team members, as well as employees, leaders and physicians on a regular basis to support information technology needs. In this role you will be required to frequently travel to different Banner locations while working a typical Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule with occasional schedule flexibility necessary. Reliable transportation is a must and on-call support are required with some holidays. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting business planning, tactical execution, and business integration in assigned technology area. The primary focus is to ensure customer satisfaction for all IT activities and support services. Acts as a resource in documenting issues, problems and concerns in regard to IT resources, tools and systems. This position demonstrates technical knowledge of infrastructure and communications processes and supports system defined objectives relative to the company’s business and healthcare requirements. Interacts as part of a team and can support some company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications. May provide cross coverage for Help Desk, Desktop Support or Audio/Visual teams.

Responds to standard requests from internal and/ or external customers. Interacts primarily with department peers and/ or personnel, internal and external customers.
4. Completes assignments within established procedures. Frequent review of work results. Maintains an organized and clean environment.
5. Maintains current professional and technical knowledge relating to the healthcare industry by attending educational workshops/conferences, establishing personal networks, and/or maintaining relevant certification or licensure as business needs require.
6. Takes high level responsibility for selected information systems. Performs work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment where there may be conflicting priorities or tight deadlines. Has decision-making authority for projects and applications and works at peer level across diverse areas and multiple states. Participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, strategic and planning sessions, implementation activities, and supports functions company-wide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree or two years of related experience in Information Technology is required.
Must be proficient and technically adept in the use and operation of a wide range of desktop, mobile devices and network connectivity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365 applications is required.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interact with various levels of customer and support groups. Requires communication and presentation and organizational skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across all services and at various levels. Must have knowledge of Information Technology in a fast-paced environment. Requires exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
Working variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
