Position Details: 

  • 4 day -10hr shift Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4:15pm

What You Will Do:

  • Uses tools and hands to assemble components in the manufacturing process.

  • Assist in updating assembly procedures.

  • Operate equipment and machinery in Lubricator Manufacturing area to include 3000psi test stand.

  • Maintain documentation and process logs daily.

  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels.

  • Troubleshoot assembly problems.

  • Read and follow mechanical drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), written and verbal work instruction.

  • Maintains and repairs tools and equipment used in the assembly process as needed.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment every day.

  • Follows safety rules and procedures; notifies supervisor of any issues in the manufacturing process that may impact safety.

  • May make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

  • Knows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.

  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • Up to two years of relevant experience.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using basic machine and hand tools.

  • Basic tool skills, including the ability to use precision measureing instruments (tape measure, calipers and micrometers, etc.)

  • Good oral and written communication skills - Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar. Listens to understand input, feedback and concerns.Provides complete information in an open, honest and straightforward manner.Responds promptly and positively to questions and requests.

  • Good math skills – Ability to develop and apply mathematical thinking in order to solve a range of problems in everyday situations.Involves basic arithmetic and numerical concepts and uses measurements and standard tools and formulas to calculate data.

  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently; Plans for additional resources; Sets goals

  • Good mechanical skills - Perform mechanical field maintenance work to ensure optimal availability and reliability of artificial lift equipment.

  • Ability to read blue prints.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite - Picks up on technical things quickly; can learn new skills and knowledge is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledge; does well in technical courses and seminars.

Physical Demands:  

  • The employee is regularly required to stand for the entire work day.

  • The employee regularly lifts and carries 50 lbs. and occasionally lifts and carries up to 100 lbs.

  • Employee is able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
