The Opportunity
Manulife Asia’s ambition to become the Leading Pan-Asian Insurer is enabled by achieving global digital and customer leadership in our peer group. For the last 5 years, we have focused on building out new capabilities to digitize and simplify our customer experience and we’ve invested heavily in growing advocacy from our customers. The Regional Marketing team is the bridge between Global Marketing and individual countries, in which we operate, to build strategies and programs to achieve our digital and customer ambitions through commercial and execution focused marketing excellence. At Strategy & Business Planning, the intern will gain management exposure through interacting with senior stakeholders such as Chief Marketing Officers and regional team leaders at the Marketing function on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Data Analytics and Validation: Analyze regional marketing data to identify trends, validate accuracy, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Drive transformation projects for business efficiency: Act as project coordinator, support business to set project plan, and tracking cadence; Support Marketing team to ensure all transformation projects are delivered as per committed timeline.
Governance & Oversight: Craft communications frameworks and templates to share progress and monitor performance of marketing programs. Manage the requests for reporting, analysis and updates to Executives and Global teams.
Presentation & Communication: Develop compelling presentations that effectively communicate marketing strategies and results to stakeholders.
Team Engagement: Foster a collaborative environment by participating in team meetings, contributing to discussions, and supporting team initiatives.
We are looking for someone with:
Detail-oriented, demonstrates ability to apply structure in complex projects, support project team to drive day-to-day progress on delivery.
Data-driven, interested in learning and applying data-driven approach to facilitate business decision making.
Comfortable with numbers. Interest in data analysis and generating insights from large data sets.
Ability to work effectively within a dynamic working environment.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Fluency in English.
Comfortable to collaborate and partner with colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
