The Team:

HP Inc. Workforce Services & Solutions team is responsible for delivering a broad range of software capabilities, including generating actionable insights from business data, increasing operational efficiency with automation, and building breakthrough experiences for HP products and services. These products will connect with millions of HP PCs and Printers to collect data and create manageability solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Management intern within ourHP Inc. Workforce Services & , you will:

  • Facilitate informed decision-making and issue resolution, support building clarity of scope, requirements, owners, deliverables, timelines, outcomes, and success measures for high-priority D&TO transformational initiatives
  • Partner with D&TO leaders to proactively identify new transformational opportunities, lead complex data and business analysis, and help develop business cases
  • Perform cross-org, cross-functional data analysis as needed, and synthesize insights clearly and concisely at an executive level
  • Help establish metrics required to measure performance and develop the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
  • Support leaders in communicating project goals, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders, including executives, and provide visibility and updates as needed.
  • Support the refinement and/or development of governance structure, playbooks, tools, and templates.
  • Track progress, issues, and risks related to execution and outcomes of high-priority initiatives​, and proactively identify unmet needs/gaps and create solutions, including anticipatory and risk-mitigating action.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 2nd or 3rd Year of Bachelor's degree completed or 1st year of Master's/MBA program completed.--typically a non-technical degree specialization.
  • Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university.

Preferred Majors/Programs:

  • Business Administration or Business Strategy
  • Finance
  • MBA

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Project experience demonstrating strong analytical, modeling, and research skills
  • Demonstrated coursework in business, economics, finance, or project management
  • Strong executive-level presentation skills (storyboarding, development, and delivery)
  • Demonstrable success in delivering results in a cross-functional team setting
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and unstructured work situations
  • Team player who supports others and leads executives and peers through logical reasoning and relationship development
  • Strong public speaking and workshop/conversation-facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and influence ideas and actions of others
  • Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel

    Our compensation reflects the labor cost across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $21 -- $40 hourly. Pay within this range varies by work location and may depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
