What You'll Do :
· Through this role you have an opportunity to develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
· You will be responsible for design, architecture, code and end-to-end delivery of one or more systems/products while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
· You will have to estimate effort, identify risks, help with prioritisation and devising/meeting project schedules.
· You will raise the bar on sustainable engineering by improving best practices, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing and monitoring.
· You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and client requirements for the software.
· In this role it would be important for you to professionally maintain all codes and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concerns
· You will show your skills in analysing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance
· Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
· You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.
· You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications
· You will be Mentoring /coaching other engineers in the team to facilitate their development and to provide technical leadership to them.
What You'll Bring
· 3-5 years of strong design/development experience in building massively large scale distributed systems and products
· Excellent computer systems fundamentals, DS/Algorithms and problem solving skills
· Advanced, inside-out knowledge (coding experience) in Java, Expertise in advance topics in Kafka, Experience in databases like MySql, Clickhouse and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB
· Experience and knowledge of open source software, frameworks and broader cutting edge technologies.
· Ability to work with minimal guidance in fluid environments while providing guidance/stability to junior engineers in the team
