Location: Must be located in Ontario. Working fully remotely from Ottawa, ON; Toronto, ON or surrounding areas.

Your Challenge

  • Be a trusted advisor to hiring teams for all things recruitment within your assigned portfolio

  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search, interests groups, Google X-Ray) with an exclusive focus on passive talent

  • Create a “buzz” in the talent market by networking through industry related groups, specialty job boards, employer branding programs – get creative: always be sourcing.

  • Intake meetings, strategic sourcing, candidate identification & selection, salary determination, and offers of employment including negotiations

  • Using data and market intel, influence the decision-making process with your hiring teams

  • Coach and train hiring managers on effective interview and selection techniques, equipping them with the skills necessary to move through the recruitment cycle confidently and seamlessly.

Your Expertise

  • Minimum of 3 years high-volume recruitment experience of high (ideally within engineering or a related technical field) identifying talent from hourly manufacturing to professional level roles

  • Familiarity with sourcing for niche technical roles to effectively assess candidate qualifications.

  • Ability to quickly get up to speed and hit the ground running with a heavy workload and proven experience doing so.

  • Advanced sourcing skills

  • Passion for driving new ideas to think outside the box and bring forward new recruitment initiatives

  • Resilience for change and ambiguity to support the fast-paced changing needs of our business.

  • Comfortable operating within an applicant tracking system (ATS), Workday experience preferred

  • A quiet, secure, work from home space with the ability openly communicate.

  • Experience working on a virtual team, and proven ability to work both independently and within a team.
