Reporting Analyst, Office of the CIO

Position Summary

In this role you will be a member of the IT team which focuses on how we bring to life the systems and processes which support the delivery of our products (capabilities) and projects we do on behalf of the greater Rockwell organization.

We are looking for an experienced Reporting Analyst to manage a growing data and reporting environment. You will oversee the maintenance, monitoring and overall integrity of each platform, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability across all systems. A successful Reporting Analyst will have a strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps, Python, and Jira / Jira Align. Your work will enable effective data-driven decision making to ultimately help facilitate the delivery of strategic outcomes for Rockwell Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Enablement
  • Supports the maintenance and improvement of capturing strategic metrics across all of IT utilizing APIs, JQLs, and Power Platform applications.
  • Maintains and improves a centralized solution for tracking of the full IT portfolio, including all administrative maintenance activities, as assigned.
  • Drives process automation to reduce 'run' work and improve strategic initiatives inclusive of leveraging Power Platform, Jira Automation and AI tools for elimination of low value activities.

• Business Value Realization & Process Improvement
  • Enables the management of program and organizational performance for Rockwell IT through data analysis, investigation, and correction to maintain accurate and trusted portfolio data.
  • Utilize Power Platforms or similar tool to drive business value realization.
  • Initiates and supports process improvement within the IT organization, to significantly improve project delivery, change management and operations metrics for reliability and service levels.
  • Supports process consistency through documentation and maintenance of SOPs and training materials. Communicates and trains staff on content, as appropriate.
• Agile Transformation Leadership
  • Assesses and deploys best practices to enable the organization to further leverage Jira, Jira Align and Confluence in alignment with our SAFe Agile Delivery process.
  • Socializes the proper use of Agile tooling to enable team efficiency.
  • Monitors and approves access requests for agile tooling, as appropriate.
  • Support PI Planning events, activities, and governance.
  • Support IT organization with agile transformation through prompt evaluation, communication and resolution of OCIO service requests in ServiceNow and the OCIO Jira ticket board. Addresses all new requests within agreed upon SLA, and maintains status on assigned tickets through completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Has a strong customer-oriented attitude while driving change and results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Jira and Power BI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Typically requires 2 of more years of experience in IT.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, PowerApps, Python, and Jira / Jira Align is a plus
• Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate
• Embraces agility, flexibility, and ambiguity
