Analyst Inventory Control

In this role you will assist in the daily activities associated with the processing and distribution and monitoring of Purchasing/Materials Management Supplies. Inputs inventory control and purchasing data into computerized inventory control and purchasing system. Controls requisitions by numbering and logging their receipt. Places routine orders with designated vendor. Assists in the coordination of following up on discrepancies with purchase orders. Reviews and resolves problems identified by receiving and/or Accounts Payable regarding orders.  In the pharmacy department process the return of expired drugs and pharmaceutical supplies that can no longer be used to appropriate vendors for credit. Prepares and distribute Inventory Control Report. Collects information related to operations of assigned area. Maintains product listing, policy and procedure manual, files and records in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Criteria:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Required Criteria:

• High School Diplima or GED
• 1-2 years of related experience
