Position Overview:

CCI is building out a best-in-class front office technology platform which supports data access and analytics via APIs, visualization tools, reporting, and associated toolkits to promote a robust analytics framework which is vital to its investment process. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Python or Java and an interest in cloud-based development. This position will be actively involved in projects as the team executes on work related to API-driven development, and other supporting processes & frameworks. This role will have significant exposure to commercial investment teams in the Firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with commercial trading teams to gain an understanding of existing workflows, gather functional & technical requirements for new processes, and understand the investment process
  • Build APIs to facilitate data access for commercial trading teams
  • Assist in the development of visualization and reporting tools used for business analytics (Power BI, Tableau, in-house, etc.)
  • Help identify opportunities for improvement in existing workflows
  • Partner with Data Science team to create next-generation analytic tools including machine-learning driven platforms and code sets

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study
  • Expected graduation date of Winter 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026
  • Strong analytical skillset with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Experience in Python/Java and SQL
  • Interest and passion for technology - programming, cloud-based technologies, and analytics
  • Ability to communicate and interact with a wide range of users ranging from very technical to non-technical
  • Strong analytics skills with demonstrated attention to details
