The Opportunity/Role 📢
Reporting to our UK Head of Customer Operations this role is responsible for owning the service relationship with designated key customers by ensuring the successful delivery of the companies service expectations and obligations. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the Sales team to manage and develop strong customer relationships, and lead regular service reviews with key customers both in-person and online

  • Liaise with customers to fully understand their requirements, ensuring their demand is fed into the S&OP process and the wider supply chain in order to meet their expectations

  • Negotiate with customers to agree lead-times and ensure their service requirements can be met safely and in line with our internal capacity, capability, and other customer priorities

  • Manage the sales order process from enquiry through to order and delivery, including order administration, supply chain progress chasing and external customer liaison

  • Act as an escalation point across the business for issues which impact on customer service

  • Actively lead and support service initiatives to involve all departments in understanding their roles and responsibilities in delivering the best possible levels of customer service

  • Support Sales and Commercial Excellence colleagues by providing guidance on internal processes and best practices to ensure that commitments in new and existing framework contracts are achievable and deliverable

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of managing relationships with large customers in a B2B environment

  • Operational knowledge of core supply chain disciplines, particularly relating to planning, warehouse, and logistics

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining standards under pressure

  • Analytical and able to interrogate reports and assimilate data

  • Experience and confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel
