What you will be doing:

As a Business Process Analyst, you will create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating changes to impacted organizations. Focus is on process analysis and re-engineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions relating to current and future business environments.

  • Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives, e.g., ISO, Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Responsible for most complex business and systems process analysis, design, and simulation.

  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.

  • Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams.

  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.

  • Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts.

  • Measures performance against process requirements.

  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.

  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.

  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.

  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.

What you bring:

  • Fluent written and verbal English/Spanish skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems OR equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

  • In-depth knowledge of financial services industry practices, regulations, and processes

  • Basic knowledge of one or more end-to-end systems development life cycle i.e. waterfall

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both technical and non-technical

  • Advanced proficiency in at least one appropriate process methodology, e.g. ISO, Lean, Six Sigma

  • Ability to estimate work effort for small projects and ensure successful completion

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $77,100.00 - $125,680.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
