We are looking for a Service Delivery Lead to drive service performance for a defined C&C for Europe in our European centre in Poznan, acting as Team Leader for the  Fixed assets (FA) CoE team. The role requires a strong ability to drive continuous improvement. and troubleshooting issues faced by the team. while keeping Finance Controlling Director and Financial Reporting teams abreast of potential challenges & proposed recommendations. Ultimately delivering best in class C&C processes performance to the Regional GSK businesses balancing cost, quality, customer experience, risk management.

Service Delivery Lead for Fixed assets accounting (FA) key responsibilities will be to:

  • People supervision of Reporting Specialist and Junior Reporting Specialists,  recruitment, training, coaching, professional development our team members, control of daily workload, in alignment with GSK Values & Expectations
  • Ensure timely and accurate service delivery for FA processes for supported entities performed by the Team at the Hub
  • Monitor the day to day delivery of operations, designing, embedding and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring customer issues are identified and promptly resolved and proactively identifying any issues or risks to the service.
  • Establishment of lead metrics to proactively identify challenges to come.
  • Drive issue resolution, including robust Root Cause Analysis & implementation of agreed action plans
  • Drive adoption of standard practices and consistency ways of working in service delivery across the region through GSK policies, tools and processes
  • Escalate issues through Global Finance Service (GFS) governance having clearly identify blockers, support required and proposing solutions. Work collaboratively across different processes in closing escalation.
  • Ensure effectively controls and regulatory compliance are met through applicable policies, procedures and processes
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement
  • Support Global Process Owner (GPO) with projects, and processes automation

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • Knowledge of SAP and FA module
  • Proven experience of Team Management (2-3 years’ experience minimum)
  • Ability to comprehend financial data in a relevant & concise way, e.g presenting monthly results, reviewing variances, analysing balance sheet
  • Experience of working in a Shared Service Environment
  • Experience of working in a Control / SOX environment a must
  • Previous experience of SAP or ERP system required
  • Previous experience of Financial Reporting and / or Audit Firm
  • Fluency in English
  • Actively seek to improve the status quo
  • Ability to identify & resolve issues, regardless of organisational boundaries
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact with & influence providers and customers remotely
  • Disciplined, robust organisation skills, ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met
