Job Details:

Mercer University School of Law invites applications for the Director of the Law Library.


 

Responsibilities:

The Director of the Law Library reports to the Dean of the Law School and is responsible for delivering Law School and Law Library information resources to the academic and legal community, administering library operations, including planning, and budgeting; leading and developing professional law librarians and classified staff in a collegial working environment; developing, evaluating and maintaining the Law Library's print and digital collection; overseeing Law Library technology and computer resources; providing leadership of the Law Library's legal research program and teaching legal research courses.  As a member of the law faculty, the Director of the Law Library participates in faculty governance and contributes to the intellectual and educational environment of the law school and university.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and an MLS degree from an ALA-accredited library school.
