Summary:

In this role, you will work independently to serve a group of providers in TX, OK, and MO. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Spend Executives to enhance contract penetration and implement value-driven strategies. A key responsibility will be identifying potential savings within the supply chains while promoting the utilization of supply chain contracts and programs. You will play a crucial role in recommending relevant products and solutions that align with the unique needs of these providers. Your primary focus areas will encompass medical/surgical, pharmacy, lab, IT, purchased services, facilities, and more.

Responsibilities:

•              Identify and implement opportunities, including submitting contract documents, providing complex analytics to illustrate cost savings, and collaborating with the team to track savings.

•              Facilitate the onboarding of new provider resources for Vizient tools and solutions.

•              Ensure Vizient tools and solutions are maximized in partnership with Product Advisors through ongoing education and support.

•              Support membership rostering and implementation of new provider locations.

•              Maintain relevant updates of activity within the CRM system for all assigned providers, including contact information, active opportunities, provider meetings, and essential communication.

•              Ensure Vizient's competitiveness and position as a trusted advisor by informing providers of industry trends and associated Vizient products and capabilities.

•              Responsible for increased GPO contract coverage and working with members to provide analytics and convert new contract opportunities.

•              Review supplier-reported purchases and member spend data to ensure accurate supplier administrative fee payment and volume reporting.

•              Document and track saving opportunities for supply chain contracts and solutions.

•              Provide documented quarterly reporting of available tier optimization opportunities and opportunities implemented/taken.

•              Facilitates tier activation and execution of LOCs/ LOPs, manages tier setting, Contract Price Activation, and submission and confirmation of required documents, taking direction from the provider's Strategic Sourcing Directors and Commodity Directors.

•              Utilize Vizient tools and SMEs to implement cost-saving methods to positively influence the provider's financial results.

•              Manage expiring contract reporting process, including coordination and communication with the provider and Sourcing Managers.  Perform contract extensions or terminations within Vizient and provider's systems.

•              Review quarterly NovaPlus and IMPACT conversion opportunities and present them to the provider.

•              Act as a liaison between Vizient’s data intake teams and the provider to ensure proper submission and loading of member data.

•              Collaborates with suppliers, members, and Vizient product advisors to vet and present savings opportunities.

Qualifications:

•              Relevant degree preferred.

•              Five or more years of relevant business or supply chain in the healthcare industry or progressive experience in a healthcare organization is required.

•              Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and conflict resolution skills.

•              Category management, sourcing, or supply chain experience within healthcare is preferred.

•              Experience working with complex healthcare/hospital clients

•              Detail-oriented with excellent presentation and communication skills required.

•              Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

•              Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint skills.          

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,600.00.
