Enterprise Integration Engineer

Description -

As an Enterprise Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex integration solutions using enterprise-class integration platforms (MuleSoft, Seeburger, etc.). You will work closely with clients, business units, and other developers to understand the requirements, define the architecture, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the business needs and expectations. You will also provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices to the integration teams and ensure compliance with HP standards and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integration solutions using the MuleSoft, Seeburger, and/or MS .NET platforms, including APIs, connectors, message queues, and data transformation.
  • Apply integration patterns, principles, and best practices to ensure high performance, reusability, scalability, security, and reliability of the solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of the integration solutions.
  • Document the integration architecture, design, specifications, and deployment plans using Enterprise Integration tools and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the integration team and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and other developers to understand the requirements, scope, and deliverables of the integration projects.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in MuleSoft, Seeburger, and/or MS .NET and related technologies.
  • Determine the scope and scale of MuleSoft, Seeburger, and/or MS .NET integration projects based on requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline, or commensurate work experience, or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, testing tools, or a related field.


Preferred Certifications

Applicable MuleSoft, Seeburger, and/or MS .NET  certifications

Knowledge & Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in integration development using the MuleSoft, Seeburger, and/or MS .NET, or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns, principles, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and data transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of MuleSoft connectors, message queues, and DataWeave.
  • Strong knowledge of MuleSoft tools, such as Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Design Center, Anypoint Exchange, and/or Anypoint Management Center.
  • Strong knowledge of MuleSoft security, performance, and deployment features.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable .NET Core APIs.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on knowledge on SQL queries.
  • Hands-on coding and debugging of API components to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

The base pay range for this role is $93,150 to $140,650 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
