Role Description
This is an exciting time in TransUnion CIBIL. With investments in our people, technology and new business markets, we are redefining the role and purpose of a credit bureau.
The role will be responsible for managing Transunion CIBIL’s terms with partnering banks. S/he will ensure adherence to set policies and procedures and lead the team to achieve departmental goals.
What You'll Bring:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the functional and business leads for month end closure and accounting process
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Ensure timely payouts of the invoices (Capex & Opex)
- Ensure accurate accounting of GST and TDS and preparation of relevant monthly schedules
- Responsible for existence of proper internal controls and ensuring timely statutory, SOX & internal audits
- Collaborate with various internal units for process integration; ensure adherence to quality standards
- Oversee the preparation of bank reconciliation statement, profit & loss statement, and various accounting reports to propose to the management
- Assist in implementation of department wide best practices and ensure adherence to same
- Manage, organize and control departmental activities with respects to payments received internationally
- Build and maintain strong relations with partnering banks; leverage the relations to achieve Transunion CIBIL’s growth targets
Impact You'll Make:
Experience and other skills:
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance / Business or any related stream.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in process handling
Other Skills / Competencies Required:
- Positive attitude and eye for detail
- Working knowledge of taxation area w.r.t GST & TDS
- Working knowledge of Companies Act, 2013
- Ability to articulate issues well, in simple and concise language
- Sharp mind w.r.t numbers
- Ability to go behind variance numbers and determine core issues / root causes
- Good communication skills, including writing business mails
- Strong collaborative nature; while also being able to ensure getting things done on time
- Lots of energy and passion for work execution and doing things in a better way
- Willingness to learn and grow within Finance team, by observing other areas
- Working knowledge of MS Office, i.e; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Innovative in bringing new automations with the respective areas & analytical skills

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
