Summary:
As an Application Lead for SAP Retail, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications.
Minimum 5 years of experience with retail master data (especially in Article, Sites)
Strong experience in creation, maintenance of master data for article, site, merchandise categories , purchase info records, pricing conditions
Good experience in setting up of characteristics and its values
Should have experience on defining the design for inbound and outbound process/interfaces for article master data
Good exposure on setting up Merchandise category hierarchy, Article hierarchy
Solid understanding of Retail Merchandising processes with focus on master data creation, maintenance with listing, assortment, reference article
Rich experience in setting up site master and related customer and vendor records of sites
Should able to drive the discussions for completing functional design as well as mapping design for conversion objects by coordinating with functional team as well as with business team (Client)
Should be able to define detailed design for development requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Retail applications, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration of SAP Retail applications with other systems.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP for Retail, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Expertise in SAP for Retail.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience in Master Data Maintenance.
- Strong understanding of SAP Retail architecture and functionality.
- Experience in leading the design, development, and implementation of SAP Retail applications.
- Solid grasp of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful SAP Retail solutions.
