JR56016 Facility Construction Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineering support and oversite of Design, Construction, Commissioning including:
* Review of Design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy
* Review of equipment configuration and distribution routing of mechanical systems in NavisWorks 3D model relative to functionality, egress, ease of maintenance requirements, constructability, alignment with P&ID's, etc.
* Validation of engineering calculations
* Review and approval of equipment and component submittals in coordination with O&M staff
* Review and validation of construction RFI responses
* Review and approval of shop drawings and construction models
* Field engineering QA during construction
* Commissioning support
* Entry of system information into a capacity planning software
* Ensuring compliance with Micron standards, Micron specifications, codes industry standards, best known methods.
* Review lessons learned from other Micron sites for incorporation into ID1 Design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent work experience
• Excellent analytical and good decision making skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Excellent partnership and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally
• Confirmed ability to solve problems across multi-functional and multi-cultural groups within and outside facilities
• Shown ability to multi-task and lead team to meet complicated deadlines and goals
• Shown ability to continuously improve systems and processes
• Ability to develop strong relationships from multi-functional and multi-cultural groups
• Exceptional customer focus
