Summary

We are looking for proactive and experienced Die Maintenance Technicians and Toolmakers who can transfer their skills to multiple projects within a fast-paced environment. You should apply if you have:

·         In this exciting role, you will time served in a toolmaking background and be able to demonstrate your hands-on experience of bench-fitting, machining and MIG, TIG & ARC welding.  Experience of CNC machining and the programming of languages using 3-axis milling machines would be beneficial.

·         An ability to need to analyse problematic situations to come up with effective solutions quickly and with confidence.

·         Experience of CAD/CAM, including AutoCAD, Delcam and NX, (or their equivalents), is also beneficial for this role.

·         Your understanding of and adhering to safety policies is key, as we utilise a 5S safety system that ensures the workshop is organised, effective and safe for everyone.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

·         In this role, you will apply excellent technical skills and root cause analysis, implementing long-term solutions to problems you identify during breakdown responses.

·         In this challenging environment, youll be able to think on your feet, prioritise your workload and have the flexibility to move from one job to another within your shift, managing your time effectively.

·         As well as the ability to carry out planned maintenance tasks and continuous improvement activities to a high level of quality, you will complete projects that include MIG, TIG & ARC welding, while also working on preventative die and tool maintenance.

·         As part of a hard-working and close-knit team, you will take great responsibility for the part we play in successfully delivering projects. You will be expected to communicate with all members of the team and across departments to support cross-functionality, while also demonstrating a good attitude when it comes to learning different processes and procedures.

·         With a passion for developing your personal skills and for embarking on training opportunities, you will be able to motivate yourself when it comes to improving your methods and abilities.
