Job Description for Software Engineer (P1 Level)

The Software Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered software solutions. The role also includes contributing to system architecture, participating in peer code reviews, and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in software development using C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) and code review processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of database design and concepts.

  • Knowledge of Python and C/C++ is a plus.
  • Background working with microcontrollers is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Implementation

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Work on integrating software applications with hardware components.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless communication between software and hardware systems.

Testing & Deployment

  • Writing unit tests and debugging software issues.
  • Deploy applications and provide post-deployment support as needed.
