QA Automation Testing with API Testing & Selenium

About the team 

FIS Quantum is an award-winning treasury management system that helps organizations throughout the world manage their cash, manage their debt and investments, and assess and manage various types of risk, such as currency and interest rate risk. It also provides support for multiple languages and helps to promote connectivity within complex treasury departments.

The development team having centers in Pune, Christchurch and Belgrade is working across the globe serving fortune 500 clients and running their multi-currency treasury operations efficiently and effectively.

What you will be doing 

This position works closely in a scrum team with business analyst, developers, product owners and other stakeholders to: identify the priorities from product owners; understand requirements thoroughly with business analysts: decide the test strategy and scenarios for given business requirement; write automation test cases; deliver the iterative results in each sprint; also come up with solution design as and when required; maintain green balls on Jenkins; monitor test results and make sure the quality of deliverables of a team

What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in testing and automation
• Develops, maintains and upgrades automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
• Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.
• Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
• Controls and manages own daily test activities.
• Provides internal quality assurance.
• Supports team to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
• Organizes and maintains the test script library.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Skills

• Technical expertise in Selenium, C# .Net, NUnit, Web Drivers
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience with Docker, AWS Cloud services
• Experience with API Testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
• Experience with Playwright for modern web automation
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design
• Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
• Experience with Release Processes
• Experience with industry standard development practices
• Experience with any of the source code management system

Qualifications

• IT Bachelor (B.E.) or master’s degree in computer science (M.C.S.) / Computer Applications (M.C.A.)
